EA FC 24 Ratings: The Top 100 Players

The Women's World Cup in Australia and New Zealand is underway, and we can't wait for all major leagues in Europe to kick off again and start into the new season.

EA and FIFA are no longer collaborating and are going their separate ways. In the future, the game will be called EA FC 24 instead of FIFA 24. But at its core, the game remains FIFA as we know and love it.

It is always one of the most important questions before a new FIFA gets released in the fall: Who will take the crown as the best player? EarlyGame's football and FIFA experts came together and predicted not just a top 10, not a top 50 but the top 100 players in EA FC 24 – a tradition, as EA annually releases an official list too.

EA has given an insight into new player ratings before even hitting August. At first, we assumed these ratings that were shown in trailers might be from FIFA 23, but there already are significant adjustments in ratings for several football superstars.

The anticipation is rising as we eagerly wait to see who will receive the highest ratings and biggest upgrades. Spoiler alert: The long-standing dominance of Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo will finally come to an end in EA FC 24.

EA FC 24 Ratings: Top 100 Best Players

We start with players who will receive ratings of up to 85. Let's take a look at players that got 84 OVR first.

If we listed them all in here, we'd have to predict 150 or more players, so there will be a lot of players with 84 OVR that you won't find in our list.

If you compare the EA FC top 100 with the FIFA 23 top 100 you will notice that there are a few players missing that made it in the list. We think that Jordi Alba, Paul Pogba, Memphis Depay, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Jamie Vardy, Marco Reus, Niklas Süle, Nabil Fekir, Péter Gulácsi, Marcos Acuña, Patrik Schick, Diogo Jota, Sergio Busquets, Filip Kostić, Iago Aspas and Gerard Moreno could lose their ranking of 85 and decrease to 84 or even lower. Schick, Jota, and Süle are confirmed as of now.

The number in brackets marks the difference between the FIFA 23 ratings and the new ones. The bolded players were shown by EA. Note that they might change until release.

We can only hope that EA will give Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and the rest of the Napoli champions a huge upgrade compared to this year. He and Kim Min Jae would deserve an 84 at least – maybe they could get even higher ratings.

After Kim moved to Bayern, it is likely he will get a tasty upgrade. Other potential candidates who might join the top 100 include Mason Mount (Manchester United), Mateo Kovacic (Manchester City), and Lucas Hernández (Paris Saint-Germain), all of whom held a rating of 84 OVR in FIFA 23. EAFC 24 Ratings: How Many Players Will Get 87 OVR?

The list continues with the ranks 42 to 26 and players which we think deserve a rating of 87. In FIFA 23, there were only 13 players that got an 87 OVR – so as you can see, it's hard to predict which players EA sees as 87 this time...

EAFC 24: Rating Leaks Show Huge Drop For Ronaldo

Time for the elite players in EA FC. Rank 25 to 10. There are some wild "leaks" that announce that Ronaldo will even drop to 83 – complete BS if you ask us. With a few special cards, CR7 will still be a clinical striker in Ultimate Team – that is for sure.

We would obviously upgrade some Manchester City guys after they won the treble. PSG will lose the status of being the best team in the game for sure!

Now, we are coming to the crème de la crème, the players where you can't believe your eyes if you pack them early on in the FUT season.

After we were pretty sure at first that Kylian Mbappé will continue to be the ultimate meta-god in FUT, we are now kinda certain that this role will move on to Erling Haaland. In every single trailer shown by EA and whenever the devs speak about the new game, the new cover star seems to be the nonplus ultra. Even if he doesn't get the highest OVR rating and is behind Kylian Mbappé, the Norwegian is undeniably one of the players everyone will want to pack in the next Ultimate Team season.

EA revealed that Haaland will have 90 OVR in EA FC 24! But as mentioned, he will probably be very good because of his movements and animations.

Goodbye, Messi and Ronaldo, one might almost say. Both of them will be particularly hard to link in the next FUT season – that is certain already.
