EA FC 24: Pack Opening Video Reveals New Walkouts

Ultimate Team will also be the most popular game mode in EA FC 24, especially because now you can play with both women and men in one team. But that's not the only innovation that EA Sports has planned for the FIFA 23 successor. The pack opening animation is also getting a completely new look!

Packs have been an important part of Ultimate Team for years. There has been much discussion in the past about whether an Ultimate Team without packs and pay-to-win is possible.

The answer is quite clear: No! Unfortunately not. EA is constantly confronted with the gambling issue, but they always manage to dribble around it. And with the new skill moves in EA FC 24, it's even easier.

New Pack Opening Animation Leaked For EA FC 24

A video is circulating on Twitter, showing Kylian Mbappé and Erling Haaland. We can see the new card design, which is significantly different from FIFA 23.

The ratings have not yet been revealed by EA, but it surely looks like the animation features a new set of special cards.

While we cannot definitively confirm whether this video originates from the EA FC 24 Beta it certainly appears to. The mentioned "double walkouts" could be incredible. Previously, players would often pack a decent, but not outstanding player and witness their walkout, only to later spot an Icon in the player list. If all high-rated players now receive their individual walkouts, we would call this a massive W from EA!

More emphasis is placed on the player's image than on the stats, nation, or club.

EA FC 24: New Dynamic Images

There will even be dynamic images that extend beyond the card's border, and it looks incredibly cool:

But back to the pack: There are the familiar panels on the sides that gradually reveal which player you are getting.

The order in which the position, nation, and club appear is still unclear. At the beginning, you will have to get used to the fact that now there will be players in packs that you didn't know before. So, the number of walkouts will increase significantly.

EA FC 24: How To Recognize Walkouts

As you can already spot in the video, there will be a lot of fireworks and confetti going on once you pack a high-rated player. Walkouts are special animations for players with an OVR of 86 or higher. In the past years, there were always good indicators like spotlights which made players recognize a good pull immediately.

We look forward to seeing the first real walkouts for EA FC 24 as it seems like FUT Sheriff and/or his team just put ingame player models of Mbappé and Haaland in front of the cards in the video above.
