- Don't enter their territory. Since they only spawn at fixed locations, you should try to avoid areas where you've encountered them before (maybe even mark that spot on your map)
- "Have the highground" Gloom Hands can't reach you at higher elevations such as walls or trees. Therefore, climbing to a higher spot is always a good solution to escape from them.
- Don't enter their line of sight. Gloom hands will notice you as soon as they can see you, even if you're moving around super sneaky. The only way, they won't notice you is by hiding behind objects in your surroundings.
