Reaching Lake Saria in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is quite tricky, even a look at the map makes it look pretty easy. If you're lost in the woods, we've got you!

Looking at the map of Hyrule on your Purah Pad makes it seem pretty easy to reach Lake Saria, in the southwestern part of Korok Forest. If you're trying to go there, you'll soon recognize, it isn't just a relaxing walk through the woods.

As always with all sorts of riddles and mysteries in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, it isn't that hard as it may seem on the first look, as soon as you know how to solve it.

How To Get To Lake Saria

Before you can get to Lake Saria, you have to be able to enter Korok Forest itself. If you've done this, the most important question is, which shrines you already have unlocked or if you have to start from the nearest Skyview Tower.

If you haven't unlocked the Mayam Shrine or the Simosiwak Shrine in the North Hyrule Sky Archipelago nor Ninjis Shrine in the Great Hyrule Forest, you should start at the Thyphlo Ruins Skyview Tower and launch yourself into the air. Aim for the Sky Islands, and if you're already there you can unlock the Mayam (beware the Flux Construct!) and Simosiwak Shrine.

Once you're at Ninjis Shrine it gets complicated... or well, a little bit tricky. You'll face a tree with Silent Shrooms growing on it and these little glowing mushrooms will guide your way. From that tree on, turn slightly to the right, until you see the next tree with Silent Shrooms, from there on, head straight on to the west, following the light blue glow. You'll pass between two trees with these mushrooms.

After that, a single Silent Shroom will lead your way, head southwest where you'll find a tree with three glowing mushrooms, pass between the tree and the rock nearby. Turn slightly to the right, heading west again to the next Silent Shroom and then down the hill, where you already can see the shimmering blue.

Again, turn right and head west, following the small path between the little hills until you can spot the next Silent Shroom. You'll have to adjust a little bit to the right, heading northwest where you first will spot a blue glowing mushroom on a tree next to a rock and as soon as you move closer another one in a hole inside a tree. Pass between these two trees and you'll get to the small rack.

From the rack, you can spot the isle in the middle of Lake Saria and just swim there. The island offers plenty of loot, mainly a variety of mushrooms and a chest inside the old gnarled tree. This chest is probably the main reason to visit the island. Inside you'll find the Forest Dweller's Bow.

This bow has an attack strength of 15, but the real twist is that it will fire multiple arrows at once! So that will probably make up for the smaller attack strength. Now with your new bow, have fun exploring the misty forest!

This bow will probably come in handy if you should encounter a Gleeok! How to defeat them, you ask? Take a look!
