In the Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom side quest "The Ancient City Gorondia", players must help the young Goron Dugby get to a hidden city called Gorondia. The only way to get there and take Dugby to his desired location at YunoboCo HQ is with one of the nearby mine carts.

The quest itself isn't very complicated nor long. But many players are facing an issue with it, where Dugby is not spawning. If you are having trouble to find him, here is what to do.

To start the "Ancient City Gorondia" side quest, you must talk to the young Goron, Dugby. Normally you would find him north of Goron City at the coordinates 1742, 2576, 0426. Though, it seems like there is a bug in the game that keeps Dugby from appearing at this location.

If you're one of those people, and Dugby is not spawning for you, there are a few things you can try to make him appear.

What To Do When Dugby Is Not Spawning

Based on recent feedback from players, there is currently no known definitive solution to address this bug. Some players who encountered this issue have reported that it resolved itself after progressing through several quests.

Therefore, if you are experiencing the problem of Dugby not spawning, we would suggest continuing to play the game for a while and returning to the area later. Should that approach prove unsuccessful, you could attempt restarting the game from a different save point.
