Daily login rewards have been leaked for Call of Duty. Play Warzone or Modern Warfare 2 every day, and get free cosmetics. It's a simple concept, but the fans are unimpressed.
A new feature is coming to Call of Duty, and it might even arrive before Modern Warfare 3. It's called "Daily Login Rewards" and if you play any mobile games, you'll be very familiar with this mechanic. Basically: every day you log in you get a reward, and you get greater rewards if you log in for a number of days in a row.

- If you're going to log in every day for rewards, you may as well buy Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 so you have something to play besides Warzone.
Daily Login Rewards Are Coming To Call of Duty
A Twitter leaker, who goes by the moniker "Task Force Leaks", recently shared a screenshot that appeared to show daily login rewards for Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone. As you can deduce from the image, it looks like players will get a new reward for free every day just by logging in:

- Day 1: Loading Screen
- Day 2: Vehicle Skin
- Day 3: Double XP Token (1 Hour)
- Day 4: Calling Card
- Day 5: Double Weapon XP (1 Hour)
- Day 6: Emblem
- Day 7: Weapon Blueprint (M4)
You might be tempted to assume that the community reacted positively to the news. But Call of Duty has as the second most negative fan base online, and so the opposite happened.
Call of Duty: Community Reject Daily Login Rewards As "Desperate Attempt" To Keep Playerbase
Based on the Twitter replies at least, it seems like the community are underwhelmed by the daily login rewards. Many users commented on how boring all the cosmetics looked, while others said it made the company look desperate:
It's nothing more than a desperate attempt to get their daily users up. I'm not sure if a small "incentive" is enough to win back the community.
And there were even those who suspected it was part of some grand plot to integrate Mobile:
