The Ascension tournament is currently in progress, featuring teams from both EMEA and Americas vying for the highly sought-after promotion spot. You can find the latest standings and schedules right here.
In the second year of the Valorant Champions Tour circuit, the promotion system will expand the three international leagues to accommodate eleven teams. Within each region, an Ascension tournament will determine which top Challengers team will secure a two-year spot in the international league.
VCT Ascension 2023 EMEA: Format, Results & Schedule
Ascension EMEA will commence with an online group stage, followed by an offline playoff stage at the VCT EMEA Coliseum in Berlin.
The format includes a group stage from June 30th to July 4th, featuring Bo3 matches. The top 2 teams from each group will advance to the Playoffs, while the rest will be eliminated.
The Playoffs, running from July 13th to 16th, will follow a double-elimination bracket. Most matches will be Bo3, except for the Lower-Bracket and Grand Finals, which will be Bo5.

VCT Ascension 2023 Americas Format, Results, and Schedule
Unlike EMEA, Ascension Americas will provide a full offline experience for the players, featuring both a Group Stage and Playoffs held at the Riot Games Brazil Studio & Pavilhão Pacaembu venues in São Paulo.
The format remains the same as EMEA. The Group Stage started on June 30th and concluded a week ago on July 2nd. The Playoffs are still ongoing and will finish in a few days.
The Group Stage in Americas features six teams split into two groups. The winners of each group will advance to the Upper Bracket Semifinals, while the others will drop to the Upper Bracket Quarterfinals.
