Patch 7.01 brings the Ignition Stage to Premier. The open beta phase has finally ended, which means everyone will start from scratch in this new stage. You'll need to create or join a new team. If you had any team or match history in the previous stage, it will carry over to the official launch in August.

Choose your team name wisely, as it cannot be changed later.

Enrollment will be open until July 20th, with end times varying according to different time zones. Matches will commence on July 20th and continue until August 12th. Playoffs will begin on the following day (August 13th). To participate in the playoffs, you need to earn a Premier Score of at least 375 points.

Emerging as the Premier champion will grant you the prestigious Premier Champion Title along with a matching gun buddy. Time to flaunt your victory!

Player Behavior Updates

If you detest toxic players, this update might provide some relief. The player behavior updates in this patch include in-game bans for repeated AFK instances, griefing with friendly fire, and queue dodging in Competitive & Unrated modes. Additionally, if someone is text-muted in real-time, they will also be voice-muted for the entire match.

Minor Miscellaneous Agent Updates

Ability icons have been updated to maintain consistency across all Agents. These icons now appear above the equipped abilities. Furthermore, Riot has introduced voice line interactions between Deadlock and Gekko, offering some interesting conversations.
