UFC 5: Release Date, Latest News & Leaks

EA Sports has officially announced the development of UFC 5 – but we'll have to wait sometime until we get a full reveal.

Exciting news for fans of Ultimate Fighting, who are eager to step into the virtual octagon and experience being mixed martial arts champions themselves.

UFC 4 was released in August 2020 already, and there has been a considerable wait for any updates on UFC 5. However, EA has recently announced on Twitter that they are actively working on a successor to the popular game.

UFC 5 Announced: Trailer And Full Reveal

Well it is really only a teaser but nevertheless it confirms what we've been hoping for, for quite some time: UFC 5 is in development!

EA confirmed their next UFC game with a short trailer and claims that we'll get a full reveal of UFC 5 in September 2023.

UFC 5 Release Date: Coming Out In 2023?

While an exact release date for UFC 5 is still unknown, it's worth noting that previous installments, like UFC 3, were released in January 2018. With any luck, we may see the game launch within this year.

Finally, after three years of waiting, we will get something new to experience one of the most intense fighting experience there is out there: Ultimate Fighting.

Hopefully, EA Sports has learned from their past mistakes and will ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience right from the launch of UFC 5. In the previous game, there were numerous advertisements that had to be removed post-release in order to improve the overall gameplay experience.


UFC 5 Platforms

It's expected that UFC 5 will be released on the next-generation consoles, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.

However, it's highly likely that EA Sports will also cater to the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One owner's by making the game available on those platforms as well. It's worth mentioning that UFC 4 was not released on PC, so it remains to be seen if EA plans to develop a PC port for UFC 5.

We'll have to wait for the full reveal to know for sure.

Will UFC 5 Be Part Of Xbox Game Pass?

Electronic Arts launched UFC 4 onto the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. As such, one would reason that the 5th installment of this franchise would release onto the Xbox Game Pass. However, this game shouldn’t be available for free download until after it’s launched for purchase.

Dedicated players will be required to purchase this game for day-one accessibility.

UFC 5: Leaks, Game Setting, Story, And Everything We Know

Details regarding the internal development of UFC 5 have been scarce. Despite that, we’ve learned of various fighters and locations that will be included in this upcoming game. For instance, UFC Las Vegas & UFC Fight Island will be developed into the 5th installment of this franchise. An assortment of well-known fighters like Dustin Poirier and Conor McGregor will also be included in this MMA simulator. You’ll also be capable of playing as these champion-winning fighters:

The UFC franchise has continually focused on realistic combat; typically, mastering this combat isn’t easy.
