It’s been a rough year for Twitch, with more and more of the most successful streamers on the platform jumping ship and going over to Kick, the biggest rival Twitch ever had. Now another golden boy was converted to the new platform: Felix “xQc” Lengyel, one of the biggest stars on the platform, signed a massive deal with Kick.

xQc Signed $100 Million Deal With Kick

And “massive” really is the word here. According to The New York Times, xQc’s two-year contract is worth $70 million, with bonuses attached that could see this number rise to up to $100 mil. Wow, that’s a lot of money!

He confirmed the change of platform on his Twitter with a short announcement video:

According to the Times, xQc signed this deal to do things he “hasn’t been able to do before”. I guess the big wad of cash helped as well.
"I'm extremely excited to take this opportunity and maximize it into new creative and fresh ideas over the coming years."

It’s important to note here, the this is not an exclusivity deal; xQc will still stream on Twitch, just not primarily anymore. How exactly this will work is unclear, we assume that he will shift to Kick full-time once his huge fan base of around 12 million followers has made the switch to his Kick channel.
