The culmination of the VCT International Leagues regular seasons is finally here. After eight weeks of intense competition and an additional playoffs week, it's time for the top teams from the Americas, EMEA, and Pacific regions to clash in Masters Tokyo.

Get ready for an exciting tournament as 12 teams from around the world will battle it out in Masters Tokyo. The lineup includes three teams from the Americas, three from the Pacific, four from EMEA (with Fnatic earning an extra spot after their victory in LOCK//IN), and two invited teams from China.

Here's everything you need to know about the event.

The tournament will commence on June 11 and the thrilling finals are scheduled for June 23. The action will take place across two venues:

  • Tipstar Dome Chiba
  • Makuhari Mese (Lower Final and Grand Final)

The format will feature eight teams competing in a group stage, with the top two teams advancing to the double-elimination bracket. Wondering why only eight teams? That's because the highest-ranked teams from each league have already secured their spots in the final bracket.

  • While we'll have to wait a little bit longer for the Masters, Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is finally here and definitely lives up to the hype!

Valorant Masters Tokyo - Prize Pool

Masters Tokyo not only offers a stunning trophy, but also boasts an astonishing prize pool of $1 million. Here's a comprehensive breakdown of the prize distribution:

  • 1st - $350,000
  • 2nd - $200,000
  • 3rd - $125,000
  • 4th - $75,000
  • 5th - $50,000
  • 6th - $50,000
  • 7th - $35,000
  • 8th - $35,000
  • 9th - $25,000

  • 11th -$15,000
  • 12th $15,000

In addition to claiming victory in the event, the winning team will secure an additional slot for their region in the Last Chance Qualifier before Valorant Champions. It's worth noting that the lowest-performing EMEA team will also be required to participate in the LCQ, as only three teams will ultimately qualify for the prestigious Valorant Champions tournament.
