Genshin Impact: Should I Pull For Alhaitham?
This is a solid question. While Alhaitham has garnered a lot of hype ever since his introduction in the Sumeru Archon Quest, the question still remains whether he's actually worth pulling for? Let's find out how strong he really is when it comes to combat.
Alhaitham can deal a lot of damage if you use his skills correctly. He has the ability to generate Chisel-Light Mirrors whenever he performs his elemental skill. While his normal attack doesn't deal that much damage, he can use Chisel-Light Mirrors to infuse his primary attack with Dendro DMG, and make it a lot more powerful.
In order to make the most of his capabilities, you must study his mechanics thoroughly. His base damage won't get you far without the Dendro infusion.
He gains a lot from elemental mastery. Since Alhaitham mainly uses his elemental power, it is smart to focus on that in his build, but he also goes great with CRIT or ATK%.

He works great with f2p weapons. Although Alhaithams signature weapon is the five-star Light of Foliar Sanction, low-budget weapons like Harbinger of Dawn, Demon Umbrella, or Iron Sting work pretty well on him.
Alhaitham definitely isn't the perfect pick for everybody, since his skillset is quite complex and requires a bit of practice to master. But if you are motivated to learn how to make good use of his abilities and don't get scared off by a little challenge, Alhaitham will be a powerful addition to your party.
