3. Xerath

Xerath has been absent from the bot lane for a while, but thanks to some mid-scope updates, he has climbed directly into our top 3. His power comes from his incredible range, which lets him reliably gain extra gold through First Strike.

At level six, roaming becomes quite easy for him. Thanks to his semi-global R – Rite of the Arcane, he barely needs to step off bot lane to make an impact on mid lane or in the enemy jungle!

However, you should not forget that he is still an immobile champion with low amounts of crowd control. If a melee support comes too close to you, they will stun-lock you and take you out of the fight quite easily. Always keep your distance!

2. Rell

Rell Lo L Champ 1

After her mid-scope update, Rell has continued to terrorize Summoner's Rift from the jungle and support positions alike. Even after her latest nerfs, she has fought her way back to the top of the standings. The current tank support meta fits her extremely well, and we can not foresee the point at which she is getting tired from being one of the best.

She is a strong and safe pick for the support position and can work against any opponents. With her, you offer your team a lot of engage, peel and tankiness. If you are looking for a reliable frontline option, she is the pick for you.

1. Rakan

Rakan is still the number one on our support tier list! Just like Rell, he offers a lot of crowd control and engage potential. He might be lacking the tankiness of other tank supports like Blitzcrank or Nautilus, but he compensates this with high mobility and extra heals and shields for his carries.

Timing and communication is everything with Rakan! Always communicate with smart pings before you are engaging and stay in contact with your bot laner. This is especially important when your carry is Xayah. Rakan's time to shine is in teamfights, where his R – The Quickness is certainly stealing the hearts of enemies and spectators alike.

Now that we have looked at the S-Tier of LoL Patch 13.15, it's about time that we check out where some of your other favorite champions are. Which of these picks is your main?

Who Are Our A-Tier Support Champions?

The A Tier is still considered excellent. These are champions that you can easily pick and still win games. They're the ones you'll want to choose when the S Tier champions are banned. So if you want to climb solo queue, then these are some picks you'll want to pick up this patch.

Thresh50.42%14.85%

Zyra

Thresh has finally made his way back to the popularity throne! While still not quite the strongest support, he has overtaken Nautilus and Rakan in pick rate and is now the most played support. This may be helped by the fact that everyone is still busy banning Blitzcrank and Nautilus, though.

A meta full of tank supports means that Janna players will be delighted too, as Janna is the best option to protect their carries from their engages. On the other hand, Nautilus has settled for an exact 50% win rate. Perfectly balanced, as all things should be.

Who Are Our B-Tier Support Champions?

The B-Tier consists of champions that are good, but won't have as much strength as either the A- or S-Tier — obviously. These are picks you can choose in specific match ups, but we suggest making sure you master the champion before choosing them.

Senna is a good combination of damage, poke and healing, and has map-wide influence with her R – Dawning Shadow. Her only weakness is her low immobility, but she scales very well throughout the game, so stay calm and free all of those Mist Wraiths you are coming across to improve your stats.

Who Are Our F-Tier Support Champions?

These are the picks we advise you to forget about this patch. Either their win rates are abysmal or they were nerfed in the patch. So make sure to avoid picking these champions at all costs.

STOP. PLAYING. TWITCH. SUPPORT.

Thank you.

Apart from Twitch, you are better off leaving your hands off Ashe for the moment if you are looking for a good poke/utility support. You might want to play her as a carry instead, she is doing quite well on the bot lane carry position.

Marksmen aside, Milio and Yuumi are also not doing great after their nerfs due to pro play popularity. At least Milio is receiving a buff next patch, so we hope that we can lift him off the bottom in our next tier list update.

These are the best support champions in LoL Patch 13.15, do you agree or think that your fave has been placed too low… or maybe even too high?
