Unfortunately, the weapon isn't quite as strong now. At legendary rarity, the shotgun now only does 160 headshot damage, has a lower spread, but a longer range.

Sharp Tooth shotgun location: How to get the new weapon in Fortnite

The Sharp Tooth Shotgun is part of Fortnite's normal loot pool. This means that the shotgun can be found on the ground, in normal and rare chests as well as in holo chests, fishing spots, claiming a POI, or by shooting down flying drones.

So you shouldn't have any problems getting the Sharp Tooth Shotgun in Fortnite, but of course the rarer ones are harder to find, so it's worth knowing all the locations of the upgrade benches in Chapter 4 Season 3.
