League of Legends has over 1,500 skins, with even more chromas available. But some fans believe that legacy content often doesn't make a return fast enough, or just doesn't return at all.
In League of Legends there are some skins which only come around every once in a while. These are called Legacy skins. Esports skins, as well as specific season-skins like Christmas or Halloween skins fall into this category, and for fans it's pretty obvious when they'll return, but there is even more legacy content that just feels forgotten.
With the most recent release of four more Dawnbringer and Nightbringer skins, fans have started the discussion of legacy content in League of Legends and how some things never seem to make a comeback.
League of Legends: Lack of Event-Specific Content in Shop
With over 1,500 skins it's hard to make every single one of them a banger. Recently, Riot revealed four new Dawnbringer and Nightbringer skins, but fans were not happy with them, calling them bland and uninspired. One person even went on Reddit and called them "filler" skins, but added on that this wouldn't be the issue if the lack of legacy content from this skin line would at least make a comeback.

The Dawnbringer and Nightbringer skins were some of the most interesting skins when they first came out with interesting lore, as well as some unique selling points, even if it was the usual 'dark vs. light' re-hashed for the millionth time. The skins and the content surrounding the skins was what made this skin line shine.
Now it just feels like Riot is bringing the skin line back for the sake of it and because they need content for this specific League of Legends patch.

When the Chaos skins were first brought to League, there was a big event, with some unique chromas as well, as is usual with League of Legends. Unfortunately, players haven't been able to receive the event-specific chromas since the initial run, something some players lament, which is why they wish that even if the new skins aren't as great, that Riot would somehow bring back the specific legacy chromas from the first and second run of Dawnbringer and Nightbringer as well.
Unlike every Halloween/MSI/Christmas event the Deathbringer chroma for Nightbringer Lillia and Pariah for Yasuo were never sold again, and yasuo's chroma was borderline hidden to begin with.
While some of the Nightbringer and Dawnbringer chromas are available in the shop to purchase all year round, some like the Pariah chroma's aren't. While some fans thought they would come back during the last Dawnbringer/Nightbringer skin release, whcih was in 2021 when Yone received his legendary skin, the chromas were not available.
Hopefully, Riot does release them with these skins and make them available in the LoL client, but there has been no confirmation whether legacy content like this is ever going to make a comeback.
