In LoL Patch 13.15, Kai'Sa will be receiving some much-needed nerfs, to the chagrin of the League of Legends community.
Kai'Sa has become the most sought-after bot laner, especially after the heavy nerfs to Zeri, who has basically become unplayable at this point and time. Now, AP Kai'Sa is the new hot bot laner to replace Zeri, in both solo queue and pro play.
In the upcoming LoL Patch 13.15, Riot will be nerfing AP Kai'Sa, as well as looking into some adjustments for Statikk Shiv, which is one of her go-to items, making her such an oppressive pick.

We're still continuing to monitor Shiv, but think it's ~appropriate for most users. (Quinn, Zeri, Sivir, Vayne, etc)
When looking at the pro meta, there is one champion that currently stands out. Ever since Zeri was basically removed from the game thanks to some heavy-hitting nerfs, Kai'Sa has entered the building, becoming the best bot laner in the current meta.
Not only is Kai'Sa a great pro pick, but her AP build is also making waves on all levels of play in solo queue as well. She is also a great flex pick, with AP Kai'Sa mid making a comeback as well, which makes her a great overall champion in the game and either a must-pick or must-ban.
Now, for the upcoming League of Legends patch, Lead Designer of the LoL Balance Team, Matt Leung-Harrison, revealed that AP Kai'Sa will be targeted in the upcoming League of Legends patch.
He did not specify what exactly they'll be nerfing on Kai'Sa but we can expect some big changes to her W, which is where most of her power in the AP build comes from.
It also looks like Statikk Shiv is going to be getting some nerfs as well, which could directly affect Kai'Sa and her win rate, since she usually builds this item either first or second to give her extra laning prowess.
While there have not been any exact details on the changes for either Kai'Sa or Statikk Shiv, we do know that they will be affecting her gemplay and play rate. Will she be dethroned after these changes or continue to dominate but with a new build?
