Overwatch 2 Season 6 is on its way!. Season 5 introduced us to a fun summer event and more. Now the time has come for the next chapter of Overwatch 2.
Overwatch 2 Season 6 Release Date
The new season of Overwatch will launch on August 10 12:00 pm PT! Here are some alternative times depending on your time zone.

Overwatch 2 will introduce a new support hero called Illari. She has the ability to fly!

New Content
PVP
Next to the new hero, two new maps are coming, called Duravasa and New Junk City. Season 6 of OW2 will also introduce a new core mode called "Flashpoint".
Beginning from September 19, Overwatch will hold an anniversary event, with many fan-favorite game modes and cosmetics returning. The first week will be "Battle of Olympus", the second will be "Starwatch" and the third "Mischief & Magic".

Co-Op
We will also get new co-op missions. Beginning on August 10, players will get the Invasion story missions playing in Rio de Janeiro "Resistance", Toronto "Liberation" and Gothenburg "Ironclad".
There will also be a limited timed free event that updates weekly called "King's Row: Underworld" starting at the season launch and ending September 5.
System Content & Cosmetics
Starting from September 5, "Hero Mastery" will be introduced, where you can test your combat skills and climb the leaderboard.
There will also be a new player progression system, which will allow you to level up your heroes and show off your personal playstyle.
And of course, there will be a special Invasion Battle Pass with a Mythic Null Sector Ana skin and more!
The OW2 invasion bundle will include the invasion story missions, an earnable legendary skin and 1000 coins. The Ultimate Bundle will additionally have a Premium Battle Pass+20 Tiers, 2 Legendary skins and 1000 coins.
