Nik $ix is an Alternative rapper from Central Europe, more specifically Slovenia, and has been making music since the end of 2017. His music is a perfect marriage between ''dirty south'', or southern rap, and alternative grunge, with heavy hitting bass in every song. His inspirations range from Three 6 Mafia to Linkin Park, and more.

Usually artists from Slovenia stick to rapping in their language, but Nik realized that if he did that he would just be limiting his craft to people that understand the language. Thus, he chose to rap in English to not limit his musical journey to those who speak his native language. A couple of years later and only stars are the limit...

Nik $ix's 2018 EP, 1411, combined dark and dense lyrics with electronic themes that swerve in between genre influences. The description of "grunge rap" somewhat suits his releases, as be battles with his inner emotions in tracks like "Forever" and youth in "Fight". Honestly, it's incredibly catchy but also incredibly insightful music that uses rap as a mode to traverse his troubles. We certainly would recommend him to any fans of alternative rap music!

Of course, we decided to ask him a few questions about music and video games. Here's what he had to say...
