New Warzone 2 BR Map: Las Almas
The current Battle Royale map of Warzone 2 is still Al Mazrah and that won't change anytime soon. Latest rumors suggest that CoD 2023, which will most likely be called Modern Warfare 3, will introduce a new Battle Royale map called Las Almas. The new map will be set in Mexico and based on the region we already know from the Modern Warfare 2 campaign.
Here is a zoomed-in screenshot of the map, that can actually be found in the Modern Warfare 2 mission “El Sin Nombre”:
As you can see, Las Almas will among other things feature a massive city, mountains, rivers and an airport. We have some more info for you here:
New Warzone 2 Resurgence Map: Vondel
We already got Ashika Island with Season 2, but now with the start of Season 4 we will get another Resurgence map: Vondel. The new Resurgence map is set in the Netherlands, which makes perfect sense, since the MW2 campaign features some missions in the Netherlands as well. Here is an overview of the whole map:
Vondel is a medium-sized map, that will be used for Resurgence, DMZ and the Lockdown LTM. Standard Battle Royale will follow in season. The developers describe the size of Vondel as something between Al Mazrah and Ahika Island and it will accommodate up to 72 Operators for Resurgence, while in DMZ 18 Operators will be active at the same time.
This is all the current info we have about a new Warzone 2 map. If there are major changes to one of the Warzone 2 maps in an upcoming update or if a new map is released, you will find all news, leaks and more about it here.
