It won't be long until the newest assassin, Naafiri will be on Summoner's Rift. Thankfully we've got some insights into her abilities so let's check them out!
Finally, the time has come! The release of Naafiri, the hound of a hundred bites, is imminent. We can expect an exciting new assassin for the mid lane. It's been a while since Riot released an assassin, hasn't it? All the more reason to be excited about Naafiri's upcoming arrival.
In this article, we want to give you an overview of her abilities. According to the developers, we can expect a champion who is quite mobile and squishy but mechanically less demanding than, for example, K'Sante. So, let's get started!

New LoL Champion Naafiri: These Are Her Abilities
At first glance, it's clear that you don't need to have studied rocket science to understand how Naafiri's abilities work – unlike some champions. Nevertheless, it's worth taking a closer look at all of them.

So these are the first two abilities of Naafiri. With the Passive, it's noticeable how Riot intends to implement the pack aspect, which plays a significant role in her champion design. It seems to be a mixture of Yorick's passive as well as the jungle pets. What do you think of that?

With her Q ability, she could exert a lot of pressure on the opponent, especially during the laning phase. Similar to Talon or Darius, Naafiri can also inflict bleed. All in all, it's an ability that offers a lot of potential for one-on-one fights.

Here is where Naafiri's mobility truly shines. Her W appears to be a fantastic gap closer. This allows her to fulfill her role as an assassin and selectively attack the backline of the enemy team.
On the other hand, her E ability is much more versatile. It serves as a dash that can either be used as a follow-up or assist in disengaging after a successful hunt.

Now let's move on to the grand highlight, Naafiri's Ultimate! This ability is truly powerful, so let's go through the ability description step by step. Enhanced and additional pack members mean significantly more damage from Naafiri's basic attacks since her pack members always attack the target that Naafiri herself is attacking.

Not only do her basic attacks deal more damage, but her Q, W, and E will also be empowered based on the number of pack members Naafiri has gathered. The additional effects of her ultimate could also be incredibly strong.
Having increased movement speed, a shield, and a vision effect similar to Quinn's W are elements that assist both in offense and when you've got to tuck your tail between your legs and run. It's also cool that these effects reset upon securing a kill, reminiscent of Pyke's ultimate – and you know Riot loves their resets on ultimates, right?
