After the success of Loki's first season, Thor's brother is coming back for season 2 and fans couldn't be more grateful. The God of Mischief is back at it again!

The first season ended with quite the bang, so it's safe to say that Loki and his team have lots of problems left to fix. Don't worry, I'll keep this spoiler-free if you still need to catch up on season 1!

Loki Season 2 | Release Date & Trailer

Good news for fans! The wait until season 2 of Loki hits our screens isn't that long. The release date for Loki is scheduled for October 6, 2023. That's manageable, right?

Just like in the first season, we can expect six new episodes and if they stick to the Loki-formula, fans are in for a ride. The episodes will release weekly with the season 2 finale hitting the streaming service on November 10.

Wanna see for yourself what's to come? I won't deny you. Here's the trailer:

Loki Season 2 | Cast

Michael Waldron and Eric Martin picked up their pens once more to write season 2. While Kate Herron stepped down as a director after the first season, Loki should be in the capable hands of Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead.

Of course, Tom Hiddleston will pick up his role as Loki once more – thank the Gods! Here's the remaining cast:

  • Eugene Cordero as Casey
  • Sophia Di Martino as Sylvie
  • Owen Wilson as Mobius
  • Gugu Mbatha-Raw as Ravonna Renslayer
  • Wunmi Mosaku as Hunter B-15
  • Neil Ellice as Hunter D-90

Ke Huy Quan, known for his role as Waymond in Everything Everywhere All at Once will also join in on the fun. At the current time, it's not officially confirmed which part he will play in Loki's season 2, but the character is called "OB" in the subtitles.

@DanielRPK on Twitter (or "X", I guess...) claimed that Quan's character is in charge of tech in TVA and his real name is "Oroborus".

On that note: the Ouroboros is the name of that ancient symbol of a serpent or dragon eating its own tail. You know the one, right? In Norse mythology (the one Loki is based off) that serpent is called Jörmungandr. And that's one of Loki's children.

Yeah, just wanted you to know that. Let's see how the relationship between our Loki and this OB dude turns out!
