Warzone 2.0 comes with a huge map called Al Mazrah and therefore, long range weapons are once again the meta. Be it a sniper with sniper support, a long range assault rifle or even a big LMG, weapons with good range and little recoil are popular again.

The Kastov 762 has long been considered one of the best weapons in Modern Warfare 2 multiplayer, so it's no surprise that it's also popular in Warzone 2.0. The Kastov 762 is more or less the AK-47 of Warzone 2.0 and impresses with high damage and good range, and all that with quite controllable recoil. With our setup, the weapon definitely slaps.

Note: This is the best Kastov 762 setup and loadout for Warzone 2.0, if you want to play the gun in MW2 multiplayer, we have an extra Kastov 762 multiplayer loadout.

With this setup, we try to go for the maximum range of the Kastov 762. The barrel and muzzle increase range, recoil control and bullet velocity, while we use the underbarrel for more precision. The larger magazine is self-explanatory, as we simply need more bullets for a kill with armored opponents. The VLK optic is our favorite for medium to long range. Of course, the sight is always a matter of taste, so just try out different optics to find your favorite – but you won't go wrong with the VLK.

WZ 2.0 Kastov 762 Loadout: Secondary, Perks & Equipment

Secondary: Vaznev-9k

With a primary weapon like the Kastov 762, which is designed for medium to long distances and is far too slow for close combat, we need a fast secondary weapon. We opt for the Vaznev-9k here, which is an absolute beast in multiplayer as well. Should you get pushed or decide to go into close range combat, this is a good weapon to save your butt.

Perks (Base, Bonus & Ultimate)

Since we can no longer choose our own perks in Warzone 2.0, we have to choose one of the pre-made perk packages.

Perk PackageWeapon Specialist

Base Perk

Overkill, Strong Arm

Bonus PerkSpotter
Ultimate Perk

Survivor

Weapon Specialist is unfortunately the only package that includes Overkill, and without Overkill we can't take a secondary weapon. Strong Arm will let us throw grenades farther and even show the trajectory. Scout is nice to see and disarm enemy equipment even through walls, while Survivalist pings enemies that downed us and ensures that we can be revived faster.

Equipment (Lethal, Tactical)

This is the equipment of our choice:

LethalSemtex
TacticalStun Grenade

Stun grenades are really powerful and do well in almost any loadout. You can slow your opponents or use the hit markers to check corners. Semtex, on the other hand, is a good choice against infantry and vehicles, and there is simply nothing more satisfying than sticking a grenade to an enemy's head....

That was our Kastov 762 setup and loadout for Warzone 2.0, and if you're wondering what the best weapons in Warzone 2.0 are right now, we've got something for you.
