As usual, assault rifles are once again the most popular weapons in Warzone 2.0. They are simply the most versatile and work great in almost any situation. Of course, there are some assault rifles that are better than others, so we have already created a complete ranking of all assault rifles in Warzone 2.0 for you.

The Kastov 545 is part of the huge Kastov platform, which features some of the best weapons in the game – the Kastov 762, the RPK, the Kastov-74u and the Vaznev-9k. However, the Kastov 545 fell completely out of line here and was one of the weakest assault rifles in the game at launch. The weapon's extremely low damage meant that you lost out in almost every firefight, even in multiplayer where there are no armor plates. However, the Season 1 Reloaded update has finally changed that. Thanks to some buffs, the Kastov 545 is now much stronger and a good option for longer distances thanks to its low recoil.

Warzone 2.0: Kastov 545 Setup

In our Kastov 545 setup, we want to take advantage of the gun's low recoil to use it at long ranges. With the barrel we thus increase bullet velocity and range, but also recoil control, while with the muzzle we increase bullet speed even more without having to take too many disadvantages in return.

The optic is a matter of taste as always, we just love the Slimline Pro. With the underbarrel, we provide even more control, which makes the Kastov 545 almost a laser, and the larger magazine is self-explanatory, as always.

With the attachment tuning, we try to regain some mobility, but also want to maximize damage range on the barrel.

Warzone 2.0 Kastov 545: Secondary, Perks & Equipment

Secondary: Fennec 45

With the Kastov 545 as our primary weapon, we are well-equipped for medium to long distances, but a bit too slow in close combat. So we need a fast weapon with a TTK that is as short as possible. Since the Akimbo pistols have been nerfed, the Fennec 45 is once again our best choice. With its extremely fast rate of fire, it destroys enemies at short distances in milliseconds – but remember that it can really only be used effectively at a few meters.

Perks (Base, Bonus & Ultimate)

And again the same perks as always, but Spectre is just the best perk package in Warzone 2.0 at the moment. Ghost is indispensable to counter the UAV spam, and therefore we also put up with the other extras. After all, Double Time and Tracker are still quite helpful in some situations. However, nobody really needs Spotter.

Of course, we have to forgo overkill in favor of spirit, but we can simply buy the second weapon in the loadout at a buy station.

The radius of the flashes is currently extremely large and the blinding effect lasts for a very long time, which makes flash grenades a damn powerful weapon. Semtex is just always useful and works against vehicles and infantry alike – one of the simplest options you can't go wrong with.
