The Spanish influencer Paula Gonu has turned quite a few heads with her Instagram and quite a few stomachs with the reveal that she and her boyfriend ate a part of her knee that was removed during surgery.

Paula Gonu is a vibrant and influential Spanish social media personality that has captivated millions of followers across various platforms. Known for her fashion sense, lifestyle tips, and positive attitude, Paula inspires and empowers her audience with her authentic and relatable approach to life.

Paula Gonu Admits To Eating Her Own Knee

During her appearance on the Club 113 podcast, the 30-year-old was talking about what made her eat her own knee cartilage in a bolognese with her boyfriend.

The influencer detailed her surgery and how her doctor asked her if she would like to keep the cartilage he just removed. Well, you can probably guess how she responded.

The doctor then "put it in alcohol, so it would stay that way for as long as I wanted. A week later, I was with my partner at the time, having a jokey conversation".

This is where she channeled her inner Hannibal Lecter, while talking to her boyfriend. “I told him I wanted to eat it because it was part of me and I had to put it back in my body.”

I don't know how they settled on the best dish to add her knee cartilage to (maybe she took some notes watching Silence of the Lambs), but they settled on a nice, meaty bolognese.

When asked about why she would do that (which she probably gets a lot), she responded by saying: “I wanted to be able to say in my head that I’ve eaten a piece of my own meniscus,”.

Alright! Always best to keep it simple.

Guess, in the end nobody got hurt so why even care, but we're not so sure what to think of her foodie revelation.

We already knew that streamers had weird criteria for their personal assistants, but at least they didn't eat their meniscus (yet):
