Rocket League Error 67 is a cross-system error that causes the player to be unable to play games online, instead presenting a "reconnecting" error message. This particular error is not one to worry too much about, as there are plenty of relatively well-known reasons why this can occur.

However, make sure before you dive too deep that the issue is not just a simple server outage. This is not a true Rocket League Error 67, and thus none of these solutions will work. If that isn't the case, there could be a few other reasons why you can't connect to the RL servers...

What Causes Rocket League Error 67?

  • When playing on PC, it can be caused by Steam not being run with administrative authorization.
  • Also on PC, Antivirus Software can cause significant problems.
  • Server port issues may be causing your IP address to not be forwarded correctly.
  • Your UPnP is deactivated, or hasn't been activated in the first place.

How to Fix Rocket League Error 67

Run Program As Administrator

  • Run Steam, or which ever platform you are playing Rocket League on, as administrator. On PC, all you need to do here is right click and select "Run as Administrator".

Create Exception In Antivirus Software

  • Jump into your antivirus software and add an "exception" to stop the software from believing that Rocket League and the launching client are viruses or malware.

Choose Specific Server Ports

  • If it is a server port issue, you may need to specifically select and determine the Rocket League server ports.
    • Enter your IP Address into an internet browser.
    • Check out the router settings, and look for the option to forward additional server ports.
    • The required server port depends on the system you use.

      • UDP: 4380,27000-27031,27036
    • PlayStation 4:
      • TCP: 1935,3478-3480
      • UDP: 3074,3478-3479
    • Xbox One:

    • You need to make sure to restart your systems after forwarding the server port.

Change Router Settings

  • If that didn't work, try to enable UPnP in your Router Settings.
    • Repeat the first step above to get your Router Settings.
    • Head on over to the Ports section, which should hold the option to enable UPnP.
    • Enable UPnP and reboot your system.
    • Allow your system a couple of minutes before trying to boot up Rocket League again.
