Apex Legends, like almost every other live service game, has regular events to break up the season. Just recently for instance, we had the Unshackled Event.

These events normally include a new game mode, some challenges and a set of skins. And the next event coming to Apex has just been leaked: Hero Anime. This is everything we know so far about the upcoming event.

What Is The "Hero Anime" Event?

As GamingIntel reports, a new event called "Hero Anime" has been discovered in the game files, and besides the normal event content, it looks like a bunch of anime-inspired skins are coming to the game. These include skins based on Tokyo Ghoul and Sailor Moon characters, but other shows might be confirmed at a later date. Here's exactly what GamingIntel were able to say so far:

So far, we know that the skins for Bloodhound and Bangalore are inspired by Tokyo Ghoul and Sailor Moon respectively. [...] Plus, it looks like Mirage, Octane, Revenant, and Wattson will also be getting Legendary skins for the event, even if the latest Legend Newcastle is missing out.

So, Tokyo Ghoul and Sailor Moon. They are likely to be very popular when they hit the store. Unfortunately, we don't have pictures of the new skins yet, but we'll share them with you as soon as we do.

When Will The "Hero Anime" Event Begin?

The Hero Anime event will most likely begin four weeks into Season 13, so probably on June 14, 2022. We don't know this for a fact, we're guessing based on the usual timeline for Apex Legends events. But we're fairly confident they will stick to the usual release pattern during Season 13.

Until then, why not hop into the cripplingly difficult new ranked mode?
