It's once again time for the Haunted Hallows event in Rocket League. Halloween is just around the corner, and we're getting some unique items as well as two LTMs. Here is all the important information about the event.
Leaves are turning yellow and falling from the trees, getting up in the morning sucks even more because it's cold, and – of course – it's Halloween o'clock babyyyy. That very special time of year when everyone dresses up and every game developer announces special events. In Rocket League, the Haunted Hallows event has been around for a few years – and it's knocking on your door again in 2022.
In this article, we'll show you which brand-new items Psyonix offers to improve your car body. There are also a number of other special events waiting for you, including two limited-time game modes (LTMs). Let's dive into the details for the Haunted Hallows event!
Haunted Hallows Event: Launch And Release Date
Well, you can probably guess the release date for a HALLOWEEN event pretty accurately, even before reading this article. The Haunted Hallows event in Rocket League takes place from October 19th to November 1st. So, it launches right after the end of the Fiesta Latina celebrations and accompanies us for almost two weeks. During this period you should definitely check out the shop or at least look at some beautiful items from last year's Haunted Hallows...
Rocket League Shop Features New Halloween Items
If you can't or don't want to play much Rocket League during the course of the Haunted Hallows event, there's still the Rocket League Item Shop to get in the spooky mood. As a special this year, Psyonix is offering various Horror Villain Player Anthems, each costing 300 RL Credits. They are each based on well-known horror franchises, check them out:

Challenges, challenges, challenges... what would a Halloween event in Rocket League be without challenges. You don't have to empty your wallet to get your hands on some unique items this year. Some Haunted Hallows Challenges are just waiting for you to complete them – numerous exclusive Decals and Paint Finishes will make your car body even more beautiful.
Legendary horror villains like Jigsaw or Leatherface have finally arrived in Rocket League and they look amazing, too! Of course, to master the challenges, you have to play a lot – the best way to do that is in the cursed Farmstead (Spooky) Arena. You should really enjoy your time during the event and have some fun in two featured LTMs...
Spooky Cube LTM Explained
The goal of the Spooky Cube LTM is pretty easy... just smash the pumpkin cube! To capture the spirit of Halloween, you have to deal with increased ball speed and random bounces in the arena. The gameplay is pretty crazyyyy and a ton of fun. Check out the mode while it is live during the first week of Haunted Hallows – from October 19 to 26 to be precise.
Heatseeker LTM Explained
We have already written a detailed guide for the time-limited game mode Heatseeker. To give you a small recap, the mode is pretty chill – as soon as you touch the ball, it automatically rockets towards the opposing goal. Score some amazing long-range goals during Haunted Hallows – Heatseeker goes live after Spooky Cube and brings us joy until the end of the event.
