The GTA 6 release date could be as soon as next year, claims publisher Take-Two.
Publisher Take-Two Interactive, who are the parent company of Rockstar Games, recently held an earnings call. And while that sounds dry as hell, GTA fans should pay close attention to this: Take-Two revealed when we can expect the release of GTA 6.
GTA 6 Release Date Could Be As Soon As Next Year
It looks like GTA 6 will release in late 2024 or early 2025. In the earnings call, CEO Strauss Zelnick revealed that the company expects a "significant inflection point in fiscal 2025" and a huge revenue increase in that period of time, which runs between April 2024 – March 2025.

While they expect an income of $5.5 billion for the current year, the following year sees that prediction rise to a dizzying $8 billion. Take-Two has a lot of hot irons in their portfolio, only one game in the world could move the needle that much: Grand Theft Auto 6.
But when exactly should fans expect to finally get GTA 6? It could be as soon as next year. If you look at the release dates of the last few Rockstar Games, you will notice that they launched in September or October, just in time for Black Friday and Christmas. Following this trend, GTA 6 could already come out in September or October 2024.
