Game of Thrones' final season has been pretty controversial. Some hated the ending, some liked it, but the two groups had one thing in common: disappointment by the ending of an amazing show.
Kit Harrington aka Jon Snow had this one catchphrase in season 8: "I don't want it." Sure, buddy, whatever you say. How come you've been the biggest supporter of a Jon Snow spinoff then, huh?

George R.R. Martin Confirmed The Game of Thrones Sequel
Author of A Song of Ice and Fire, George R.R. Martin, may not be the best when it comes to finishing his own book series, but he did find the time to address the rumors of the spinoff following Jon Snow.
In his blog post he confirmed the news: yes, there is a Jon Snow show in development as first leaked by The Hollywood Reporter back in 2022. The working title simply is "Snow."
Apparently, it was even Kit Harrington's idea and he has been deeply involved in development of the true king's further journey beyond The Wall. In Game of Thrones' ending, he was allowed to keep his head (the plot armor is strong) and even though he's the true heir, he went to live out his days at The Wall.
Whatever adventures await the Targaryen-Stark-offspring there remains to be seen. Could be pretty dark, though.
Kit Harrington On Jon Snow: "He's not okay"
Who knows more about Jon Snow than Jon Snow himself? Fine, maybe George R.R. Martin, who's also involved with the new show, but Harrington has a pretty good understanding of the character as well (maybe even more than the showrunners did at the end, but I digress.)
Harrington's view of Jon's psyche is a little bit concerning, to say the least. At the official Game of Thrones Convention in 2022, he talked about how Jon is definitely not okay:
At the end of the show when we find [Jon] in that cell, he's preparing to be beheaded and he wants to be. He's done. The fact he goes to the Wall is the greatest gift and also the greatest curse. He's gotta go back up to the place with all this history and live out his life thinking about how he killed Dany, and live out his life thinking about Ygritte dying in his arms, and live out his life thinking about how he hung Olly, and live out his life thinking about all of this trauma, and that… that's interesting."

So with Harrington involved with development, chances are we're going to witness Jon dealing with all that in the North. Game of Thrones is infamous for happy endings and characters coping with everything in the healthiest way imaginable, so I'm sure Jon's gonna be just fine after talking it all out. Yeah, no, probably not.
Whatever the case may be, we're still waiting for an official announcement from HBO's side. As soon as there's a release date to report, you can be sure we'll cover that, so hang in there!
