The FNCS Invitational 2022 came back again this year. Top players from around the world competed for an incredible prize pool. But who came out on top in the end? These are the final results.
This was a big weekend for all Fortnite fans. The best players in the world came together in Raleigh, North Carolina for the FNCS Invitational, or rather the 2022 Fortnite World Cup, a much more apt name.
The 2022 FNCS Invitational totaled $1,000,000 in prize money, so there was a lot of pressure on all players. Ultimately, however, only one winning duo could hold the trophy aloft, even though each team displayed top-notch gameplay. But who took home the big prize money?
The FNCS Invitational winners: BL Kami & BL Settyz 8
Everything was a neck and neck affair until the last matchday. However, Queasy and Veno chose to go head-to-head with list leaders Kami and Setty.
Truly, a mistake because the Become Legends boys narrowly won the fight and thus won the 4th FNCS Victory Royale. A single bullet made the difference and crowned Kami and Setty the winners of the 2022 FNCS Invitational, but that doesn't mean the other Fortnite Pros went away empty-handed.
On the leaderboard above you can see the placement of the top 10 duos. The prize money is split evenly between the two players.
Overall, the FNCS Invitational was a real success - and a reminder of just how exciting competitive Fortnite can be. The production and venue for a LAN event was fantastic. It was nice to have a live audience. So there's definitely hope for the future - and who knows, maybe another Fortnite World Cup in 2023.
