Corinna Kopf & Amouranth Lash Out At Pokimane Over "Self-Righteous" Kick Comments

Pokimane has gotten more than she bargained for with her recent comments regarding Kick. Now multiple creators including Amouranth and Corinna Kopf are coming at her.

With Kick signing the biggest names in the streaming industry right now, it's become a hot topic to theorize who might be targeted next. However, when asked about possibly switching to the Twitch competitor, Pokimane took a shot at everyone signing with Kick, and they decided to shoot back.

Imane “Pokimane” Anys is one of the biggest female creators on Twitch, known for friendly, funny, and focusing on vanilla content online. Imane didn't hold back when gambling was a hot topic on Twitch, so her not really being a big fan of Kick is pretty on-brand.

Amouranth & Corinna Kopf Unite Against Pokimane

Kick has been popping off in the last few weeks after signing some of Twitch's biggest stars like xQc and Amouranth, with some of the biggest deals in streaming history.

  • Kick really has that sub-split going for them. I mean, for Twitch streamers to get most of the money viewers pay for a sub, you would have to use your free Amazon Prime sub.

When people in her chat started speculating whether Pokimane has taken one of these big-money, non-exclusive deals as well, she had quite an intense reaction.

“Why would I compromise my morals and ethics, when I have money? Something about that is so cringe to me, personally. Like, I understand if you need to make money, right? For me to do cringe sh*t when I have money — I can’t. Like, ew.”

Maybe at the time, Poki didn't realize that she was pretty much putting everybody that had taken the Kick deal on the spot, painting them as kind of morally questionable, cringe and kinda gross with her “ew” at the end.

Corinna Kopf didn't really like that, and when Pokimane tweeted out, complaining about people's reaction online, she called her out for being “self-righteous”.

Amouranth latched onto the topic as well, claiming that Pokimane “was trying to farm clout and relevancy in an era where she doesn't have any at the moment”.

She then added that she's “not trying to hate on her” and that it is in fact “smart”to do so, while also doubling down that “that’s just the actual reason.”

So far, Pokimane hasn't responded to the two of them, but if she is actually trying to farm the drama, she will definitely do so.

It's not like Pokimane is all that innocent either, oh wait, it was an "accident":
