Even though Fortnite Chapter 4 is still in full swing, the first leaks for Chapter 5 are already surfacing – including a gameplay feature that could completely change the game.
Fortnite Season 4 will be the last season from Chapter 4, which means that Chapter 5 will go live at the end of 2023 with a completely new map. And of course, as with every new chapter, there will also be blatant new gameplay features and one may have already been leaked. And this one could be extremely OP for some gamers...
Legendary Reality Augments Chests Leaked For Fortnite Chapter 5
With the start of Chapter 4, so-called reality enhancements were introduced in Fortnite. These are combat-oriented bonuses that players can earn during their rounds. They provide tactical boosts and allow players to specialize in certain roles during a match.
Depending on the type of Perk you choose, you can heal more easily, provide tactical support, or become a force of nature in battle.
And now Fortnite leaker GMatrixGames has found a new type of these reality enhancements in the files that are supposed to come to the game with the launch of Chapter 5.

These are so-called reality enhancement chests that players must interact with in order to obtain legendary reality enhancements. And three of these legendary perks are said to work as follows:
- Reboot: revives players after they have been eliminated.
- Shield Increase: Affects either the player's overshield or base shield by increasing their overall capacity
- Siphon: Gives you shield or health points when you eliminate enemies
From what I can tell, next season, there will be Legendary Augments that you will have to interact with Augment Chests to get.

The three that are going to be there on season launch are:
- Reboot (Respawn on Death)
- Shield Increase
- Siphon

Similar to the holo chests, you might need an item to open them, but that is unknown at this point. In any case, these types of perks sound incredibly OP and could give players who possess them a huge (and unfair) advantage in the game.
