All the Secret Temple Vault Locations in Fortnite

There are four larger temple ruins and five smaller ones that you can explore on Fortnite Island. All are located in the new jungle biome and can only be opened by solving a puzzle. You will logically find more loot in the larger temple ruins, but it's also worth checking out the smaller ones.

Here are the exact locations of all of Fortnite's secret temple vaults:

Small Temple Ruins locations

• In the southeast of Shady Stilts
• In the southwest of Shady Stilts, south of Mayday Meadow
• At Sunswoon Lagoon in the west of Creeky Compound
• In the southeast of Creeky Compound
• In the south of Rumble Ruins on a mountain

Large Temple Ruins locations

• In the middle of Rumble Ruins
• The southern temple is located in the southeast of Rumble Ruins
• The northern temple is in the northeast of Shady Stilts
• The hidden temple is northwest of Creeky Compound, below a cliff

How To Solve A Puzzle At A Ruin In Fortnite

At each temple ruin, you will find locked stone doors waiting for you with a puzzle. In the following, we will show you how to solve each puzzle.

How to solve the "Give Item" puzzle

This is the easiest puzzle. These doors can only be opened if you sacrifice a valuable item with the rarity level, with the colour in which the shell glows. A blue glow would be a Rare weapon or item, a purple glow would be an Epic one, and so on. It is also possible to sacrifice an item or weapon with a higher rarity.

How to solve the Flame Puzzle of the Fortnite secret temple vaults

First of all, there is no standard way to solve the flame puzzle, as it is different in each round and in each temple. However, there is a clue hidden inside each temple that shows you which flames must burn and which must not.

All you have to do is find another room within the temple where flames are burning and recreate them in the puzzle room.

How to solve the Statue Puzzle of Fortnite's secret temple vaults

Similar to the flame puzzle, there is no single way to solve the statue puzzle. To open the door to the safe, you have to interact with the right statue. However, there is no clue hidden in the temple. You have to try the statues one by one until you find the right one to open the door.

If you interact with the wrong statue, you will be sent to heaven with a rift and have to enter the temple again. But at least the statue you've already tried will be highlighted in red, so you won't be tempted to interact with the wrong one again.

The puzzles are a bit tricky, but it's worth it because you get very powerful weapons and items. However, you always have to be prepared for enemies who want to grab the rare loot.
