Another way to check on your connection to BG3 involves going to the Multiplayer section from the main menu. You will be able to see public games here, and you will know if you don't have a working connection if you aren't seeing any public matches to join. Baldur's Gate 3 Connection Issues: How To Fix

If everything sever-side is working, then the connection issues are probably on your end. Here are some most important things to try first to fix the problem:

• Shut down all non-essential programs before launching the game. Things like antivirus firewalls, overlays from graphics programs, as well as chat programs, have all been known to cause issues.
