Finally, the time has come and Apex Legends season 17 is slowly but surely approaching. The new season will feature a new Legend that will enter the battlefield very soon. In addition to that, you should get yourselves ready for some super cool new skins.
Everything comes to an end, and now it's about time to say goodbye to the old Apex season. We have fought many epic battles and maybe even reached our ranked goal. But now it's back to square one — It's time for Season 17!

Apex Legends Season 17 Release Date
Apex Legends has a very precise rhythm regarding new patches and updates. Since Season 16 started on February 14, 2023, it is obvious that its replacement will be coming soon.
Apex Legends Season 17 begins on Tuesday, May 9 at 10:00 AM PT (1:00 PM ET / 6 PM BST / 7 PM CEST). The wait will finally come to an end, and we can enjoy the new content Apex Legends has in store for us. The update will be fairly large, but you can usually pre-download from about 12–24 hours before release.
Apex Legends Season 16 End Date
With the new season starting on May 9, the previous season 16 turned out a bit shorter than the exact three months. It lasts from February 14 to May 9.
Season 17 New Legend: An Old Legend Makes His Return
Since Season 16 was more about class reworks, there was no new Legend for us in the last major update. Even though these changes have done the game a lot of good, new characters are much more exciting and bring a whole new gameplay experience.
Finally, there will be a new Legend in season 17 for players to enjoy, and the newest addition to the roster will be calledBallistic.
New Skins In Apex Legends Season 17
In Season 17, there will be at least three events, featuring new skins as well, which do look quite promising! Here is an overview of each of three skins we have seen so far:
- Revenant is one of the Legends receiving a new look. He will present himself in a rather formal garment, showing off his new faceplate. On his shoulders, he is almost wearing wing-like armor. To round out his new style, he wears a vest and a tie
- And speaking of wings, the new Mad Maggie skin will feature a nice pair of them as well! She is dressed in a Valkyrie themed outfit with heavy chest plates and a strong armor to fit her rather aggressive play style.
- Last but not least, we have to talk about Loba's new skin. After already receiving a skin in the previous event (April 25), it is her turn yet again. She fits in line with Revenant's new skin, wearing a short fur coat and a facemask as well.
It is speculated that Bangalore and Vantage will get new skins as well.

New Events in Apex Legend Season 17
There is surprisingly little information about the upcoming event in Season 17. What we do know is that there will be at least three of them, named: Hitman, Neon, and Alien. One of them will feature Mech-themed cosmetics.
Especially exciting will be an event featuring the Octane Heist Skin, which we know from the Lifeline STFO.
